KNOW Jesus Christ

is a Christ-centered congregation, born from a desire to see a Bible-based church serve the western Fox Cities area. After holding weekly Bible studies at the Hortonville Opera House for seven months, Pastor Aaron Soto felt the Holy Spirit leading him to make the transition from Bible study to a full worship experience. An opportunity became available for us to hold our services at the Community Baptist Church, where we are still today.

We are now an ever-growing, multigenerational church. Every age demographic has a vibrant community of engaged members who can share their personal story of the radical transformation Jesus Christ has brought about in their lives.

LifePoint Church is part of the United Pentecostal Church International, a world-wide organization bringing the biblical gospel to the world.

We have three core desires for ourselves and every person in our communities.

As disciples of Christ, we want to:

  • KNOW

    Jesus Christ

Every disciple should have a strong understanding regarding who Jesus Christ is, why he came, and practice disciplines that nurture their relationship with him.

  • GROW

    In Jesus Christ

Every disciple should be advancing in their spiritual formation with Jesus Christ as an individual, as a family member, and as a leader.

  • SHOW

    The Love of Jesus Christ

Every disciple should be an extension of Christ's ministry in their world by serving others and leading others to Christ.

What we Believe

We follow Jesus, teach from the Bible, and worship God as the creator and ruler of the universe. Through our relationship with Christ, we are healed, renewed, redeemed, forgiven, transformed and loved. It’s our passion to share this faith and hope with the world.

  • About the Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s Word to us and that it is inspired and alive. The Bible is without error and is the sole authority for salvation and Christian living. It is compared to bread in multiple passages and is necessary to our daily lives. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25)

  • About God

There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man. (See Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16.)

  • About Sin and Salvation

We believe that people are the supreme object of God’s creation and are made in the spiritual image of God. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our life. According to scripture everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)

  • About the Gospel

The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (II Thessalonians 1:8; I Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance (resurrection). (See I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4.)

  • About Christian Living

As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today. (See Mark 12:28-31; II Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; I Corinthians 12:8-10.)

  • About the Future

Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death. (See I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15.)
